Neem leaves since long time are considered very beneficial for the hair growth and to get rid of dandruff.
Neem oil is very beneficial to control dandruff. First of all boil neem leaves in water and then use this water to wash your hair to get rid of dandruff.

Alternatively you can also boil neem leaves in coconut oil. After boiling restrain the neem leaves from the oil. To this oil add one lemon juice, castor oil (1/4th of the total quantity). Use this neem oil mixture for massaging your head. Massage with this oil is very beneficial as it will keep the dandruff as well as lice away.

Also many types neem oil are available in the market. If you do not have too severe dandruff then you can put few drops of it in your shampoo while shampooing. But in case of excessive dandruff, you first will have to massage your head with oil, keep it overnight and go for the washing.Neem oil is an excellent hair conditioner. Use this to see the results.
Other Dandruff Home Remedies
Keep your hair and scalp clean so that dandruff or dryness does not get accumulated on the first stance only.

Try not to tie your hair when wet as wetness leads to the growth of dandruff.You can apply lemon peel on your scalp and let it rest for 15-20 mins. Now wash your hair with lukewarm water. You will get rid of dandruff with this.

Lemon extract has certain chemicals that prevent the growth of dandruff. You can also rinse your hair with teaspoon lemon juice at the end of the bath.Once in a weak apply the paste of lemon juice and fuller’s earth to get rid of dandruff. This is one of the best dandruff home remedies as very effective.

With lemon juice the sebum breaks down so the excessive dead cells will be removed.Mix two tablespoon of gram powder in half cup of curd. Apply this mixture on hair once in a week and wash it with water.

Beet roots is also very effective to get rid of dandruff. Boil the top and root of the beet in water and every night massage your scalp with this water. This is a good ayurvedic treatment for dandruff.
Apply juice of snake gourd over the scalp and it is one of the dandruff remedies.

Curd has special place in dandruff home remedies. Keep the curd in open for at least three days and massage your scalp with this. Wash after 15 min.

For the consecutive five days eat fruits but avoid citrus fruits, tinned or dried fruits and banana.Avoid pickled and processed food.Comb to increase blood circulation of the scalp and keep the scalp clean

“These are perfect for when you’re on the go – I’d suggest keeping some in the fridge for whenever you need a quick and healthy snack. Most fruit leathers available out there are full of processed sugars and preservatives, but if you make your own you can feel good knowing exactly what you’re eating!”

Ingredients (makes 8 fruit leather rolls)
1 banana
2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

Directions
In your food processor, puree the raspberries and banana into a thick fruity paste, adding water as needed. If you don’t like the seeds, just use a sieve to strain the puree before adding the banana.

Next, grease your dehydrator sheet with a thin layer of coconut oil and cover with fruit mixture, using a spatula to make sure it’s spread evenly. Dehydrate on 118 degrees for 8 to 12 hours, or overnight – fruit leather should be pliable, but not sticky. Cut into eight equal strips, and roll into cylinder shapes.

Consumer Reports purchased 15 protein powders and drinks and tested multiple samples of each for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. Levels in several of the products could, with just three servings a day, result in daily exposure to arsenic, cadmium, or lead exceeding USP limits.

When taking into account the large serving size suggested, the number of micrograms per day for these products was comparatively high.

According to ABC 6 Action News:

“Cadmium raises special concern because it accumulates in and can damage the kidneys, the same organs that can be damaged by excessive protein consumption. And it can take 20 years for the body to eliminate even half the cadmium absorbed today.”

Which Protein Drinks Fared the Worst?

Three daily servings of the ready-to-drink liquid EAS Myoplex Original Rich Dark Chocolate Shake contained an average of:

16.9 µg (micrograms) of arsenic
5.1 µg of cadmium
The proposed United States Pharmacopoeia’s (USP) limits for these two toxins are 15 and 5 µg respectively.

The worst of the products tested was Muscle Milk Chocolate powder, which contained all four toxic metals; three of them at the highest levels of all products tested. Three daily servings of this particular brand and flavor contained an average of:

5.6 µg cadmium
13.5 µg of lead
12.2 µg of arsenic
0.7 µg of mercury

Muscle Milk’s Vanilla Crème contained slightly less lead, but still exceeded the USP lead limit of 10 µg.

A fourth product, Muscle Milk’s liquid Nutritional Shake Chocolate, also tested high in arsenic, providing you with an average of 14.3 µg of arsenic per day, which is very close to the USP limit.

Clearly, getting a potentially toxic dose of heavy metals with your daily protein drink is not what you had in mind, but based on these results, that may indeed be what you’re getting…

Arsenic and Cadmium

Arsenic and cadmium appear to be the most problematic here, as the levels of these two compounds in some cases exceeded maximum “safe” limits. However it’s worth noting that, ideally, you don’t want to ingest these toxins at any level, other than what might naturally occur, as even low-dose exposure can contribute to lingering health problems.

Various toxins can also act together synergistically, creating even more potent, damaging effects.

Exposure to low levels of arsenic can cause nausea and vomiting, decreased production of red and white blood cells, abnormal heart rhythm, damage to blood vessels, and a sensation of “pins and needles” in your hands and feet. Long-term exposure has been linked to cancer of the bladder, lungs, skin, kidney, nasal passages, liver and prostate.

Cadmium is also a known human carcinogen. It damages DNA and also disrupts a DNA repair system that helps to prevent cancer.

According to ABC News, cadmium also “raises special concern because it accumulates in and can damage the kidneys… and it can take 20 years for your body to eliminate even half the cadmium absorbed today.”

It’s important to realize that toxic metals such as the ones discussed here typically accumulate in your body over time where they can cause irreparable damage. Further damage can be prevented by using various detoxing methods to remove the metals, but this can be a slow, difficult process.
